Let's RE:START From Here! - Our Plans for the Future
Hello, this is the Project SEKAI Wiki team! We know it's been a rough week at Miraheze with the intermittent server outages, so we appreciate everyone's patience in waiting it out with us. Moving forward, we're happy to announce some upcoming changes to the wiki!
Even though the wiki has grown a great deal over the last year, we feel like we still can do a better job in not only getting the most up to date information, but also getting more involved with the Sekai community this coming year. Thus, we have started this blog as well as created several social media accounts to help facilitate this.
Our goal with this blog is mainly to give insight into our upcoming plans. Our Twitter account, @sekaipedia, will be analogous to the official Project SEKAI Twitter account and will be posting new articles as well as articles that have changed as the game has changed. Our Reddit account, u/Sekaipedia, will be mostly posting short announcements related to this blog and to reply to community feedback. Our Discord server will still remain our main community hub.
Without further ado, let's get to the exciting news!
We are rebranding!
We are happy to announce that we are rebranding to "Sekaipedia"! Hopefully this will help you find us better on Google and various other search engines.
With this rebrand, we are changing our logo and favicon on the wiki to reflect this. Expect to see some changes soon!
While we will still be hosted by Miraheze, our new domain will be "sekaipedia.org". Our old domain, "projectsekai.miraheze.org" should redirect to our new domain. If it doesn't, please let us know and we'll try to get that resolved.

In addition to our rebrand, we are currently testing out a new skin, Cosmos. This skin is based off of Fandom's Oasis skin, and we hope this will provide everyone who is used to Oasis a better experience.
In order to use this skin, you will have to create an account on Miraheze (it's free) and change your skin preferences by selecting "Cosmos" under the "Skin" section in your preferences page.
Since Citizen is still our primary skin, some styling may not look correct on Cosmos. Feel free to drop a message in #suggestions or #error-reports (whichever is more applicable) in our Discord server!
New project!
We have started working on our newest project: adding images for every costume. The goal of this project is so that players can view the variants of the costume without having to be in game. We aim to have images of the front and back view of every variant of every costume.
Below is an example of what each costume page's gallery should have.

Other notes
Media Viewer
A few users have reported that mobile experience for Media Viewer is quite poor. Media Viewer can be disabled in two ways:
- For users with accounts, in your preferences page, under the "Files" section, by unchecking "Enable Media Viewer".
- For users without accounts, by clicking on the cog icon, and then clicking on "Disable Media Viewer".
TW/Global/KR server support?
There aren't any plans to support any server other than the original Japanese server. Unfortunately, we don't even have enough contributors for the JP server, so we definitely won't have enough for the other servers either.
However, should there be enough interest and enough volunteers for other servers, we will definitely consider! A rough estimate for how many volunteers are required is at least semi-active 10 editors for each server. This so that the desired article quality can be reached and so that articles can be updated in a timely manner.
How can I help out?
You can start helping out by adding information to or correcting any outdated information in any article! Other routes would be to join a project, however, these are more structured and require some setup. We are happy to provide any assistance in getting up to speed.
Discord server
Our Discord server was mentioned briefly a few times earlier, however, we greatly encourage all readers and editors to join it! For our editors, it helps with coordination and planning among other things. More importantly, for our readers, this is a way for you all to directly provide feedback on the current state of the wiki. This helps us determine what needs to be changed to improve the wiki.

Understandably this is a rather large announcement so here's the summary:
